Is Star Wars marketing getting to be too much? Compared to the marketing onslaught that accompanied The Phantom Menace, I do believe the product tie-ins leading up to The Force Awakens is a cake walk. Here, Jeep devises a clever way to tie in their brand with a space battle between X-Wings and TIE Fighters. I’m not crazy about the animation quality but the action is good and BB-8 hamming it up for the camera is a nice touch.
The author is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker who chooses to remain anonymous but owes his career to Star Wars, the movie which ignited his imagination in the halcyon days of his childhood during the late 1970s.
