Star Wars Tsum Tsum Collection Arriving At Disney Store

For Those Of You Who Always Wanted To Stack Your Favorite Star Wars Characters….

In 2013 Tsum Tsum stuffed toys were released in Japan as a tie in to the Konami and Line Corporation-developed Tsum Tsum arcade and mobile games. The toys were designed to be stackable on top of each other to form a pyramid shape. The Japanese word tsumu means to stack.

Soon after, in July 2014, Disney began to offer Tsum Tsum toys based on their popular characters including those from the Marvel Universe and, now, Star Wars.

The Star Wars Tsum Tsum collection features heroes and villains from the Original Trilogy including Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and more.

In-store and online Disney stores in the US, Japan and Europe will launch the Star Wars Tsum Tsum line on February 16.

Paul Gainer, executive vice president of Disney Retail says…

With a unique mix of charming design and collectability, Disney Tsum Tsum has solidified its place as one the latest Japanese pop culture crazes to go global, and we’re thrilled to introduce Star Wars characters to this ever-popular line…
